#CXnats16 has come and gone, but not before many memories and friendships were made that will last a lifetime. The venue at the Biltmore Estate was extremely well organized, and had a course that offered many challenges, but left you smiling after each lap. Our TBCX JR’s team pulled together and made the week long race a fantastic experience for everyone. Coach Zach couldn’t have been more proud to be represented by such an amazing group of TBCX juniors, parents, and CCS athletes. This was a first time experience at #CXnats and everyone came home with an unforgettable experience. Congrats to Ava Sykes for finishing 10th in the 13-14 female race, and Reed Legg finished 8th in the junior 13-14 males. Braxton Legg was sitting in a comfortable top 10 position until an unfortunate crash prevented him from finishing the race. Sarah Zaki finished up her first year of CX and had a strong 17th place finish in both of her races. David Hahn had an incredibly challenging field and finished 41st in the Masters 35-39 race, and 71st finish out of 150 racers in the SS race (largest race of the week).

A huge thank you to John Johnson for coming up and being our mechanic, it was greatly appreciated!!!!

#CXnat16 surpassed every expectation that we could have had. The organization, venue, City of Asheville, race course, and people were all amazing. Everyone came home with the love, passion, drive and excitement to perform even better at #CXnats17.
